Project OverviewI am a tech-literate, retired individual looking to build my own Shopify e-commerce store using the free Dawn theme. I am a quick learner. I do not want you to build the website for me. Instead, I want to hire a patient Shopify Coach/Tutor to guide me through the setup process during live video sessions so I can do the actual execution myself. Scope of WorkYou will guide me through the following setups via live screen-share training: Theme Customization: Setting up the Dawn theme layout, navigation menus, and standard pages. Product Catalog: Creating 2 collections with 15 products each (30 products total). Referrer / Affiliate Portal: Installing and configuring a Shopify affiliate app (e.g., Goaffpro or UpPromote) to give verified referrers their own personalized tracking link and a custom QR code that drives customers directly to their profile to buy. Payment Gateway Integration: Walking me through the standard Shopify process for connecting third-party payment provider plugins. Shipping / Courier Integration: Assisting with the installation and basic setup of localized courier or shipping tracking apps via the Shopify App Store. Training Format, Pace, & Timeline Project Duration: 2 Months (60 Days Total) to allow thorough practice and implementation. Session Schedule: 1 live session approximately every 10 to 12 days. Type: Live 1-on-1 coaching via Zoom or Google Meet. Time: Approximately 10–15 hours total, split into manageable 2-hour training sessions. Language: Fluent spoken English. Budget & Financial MilestonesFixed Budget: $200 total for the complete training package. Pay-As-You-Go Escrow: Payments are released incrementally in equal parts after each live training session is completed ($40 per milestone for 5 sessions). Pacing Notice: Milestones will be funded and released across a spanned 2-month period. Do not apply if you require immediate project completion. Freelancer Requirements Deep experience with Shopify, the Dawn theme, and Shopify Affiliate apps. Excellent, clear spoken English communication skills. High patience and a proven track record in technical tutoring or coaching. Reliable internet connection for smooth screen sharing.
