3D-Printable Gear CAD Design

Descripción de la oferta
I need a precise CAD model for a small plastic gear that I’ll fabricate on my desktop FDM printer. This is a standalone cog, so it does not have to match any existing drivetrain or housing; performance, smooth rotation, and printability are the key concerns. You will receive a hand sketch with the desired outer diameter, approximate thickness, and tooth count. From that, please: • Translate the sketch into a fully-parametric model in SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or a comparable package. • Optimise tooth profile and root fillets so the gear prints cleanly on standard 0.4 mm nozzles without post-processing. • Check overhangs, clearances, and tolerances typical for PLA/ABS printing. • Export and deliver: – Editable source file (e.g., .SLDPRT, .F3D, or .STEP) – Print-ready, manifold STL verified in Netfabb or similar I’d also appreciate brief notes on recommended layer height, infill, and any support settings you think will improve the result. Once I receive the files I’ll run a quick test print; if minor tweaks are needed for fit or print quality, one revision round is part of the scope.
