I have an idea for a small consumer gadget that I want to manufacture on a desktop 3-D printer and ultimately release to the market. Your task is to turn my rough sketches and functional notes into a print-ready digital model. Scope of work • Translate concept sketches into a clean, manufacturable CAD model. • Optimise wall thickness, tolerances, and support requirements for common FDM printers (Prusa, Ender, etc.); SLA experience is a bonus. • Supply native CAD (STEP or Fusion 360), a watertight STL, and a simple exploded view for assembly instructions. • Advise on material choice (PLA vs PETG vs ABS) so the final print is durable and user-friendly. Acceptance criteria 1. The STL slices without errors in Cura or PrusaSlicer at 0.2 mm layer height. 2. All mating parts press-fit or fasten together exactly as modelled. 3. File naming is clear and dimensions are in millimetres. If you have a portfolio of consumer gadgets you have already pushed through prototype to print, send a quick link; seeing a similar part you have produced will speed up selection.
