I have a batch of digital files—mainly Word documents—that contain a mix of short text snippets and numerical figures. Although everything is already digitised, the content now needs to be transferred into a single, well-structured spreadsheet so I can run quick analyses and reports. Here’s what you’ll do • Open each Word file, pick out every piece of text and number, and place them in the exact columns of the template I provide (Excel or Google Sheets—whichever you prefer). • Double-check totals, spelling, and column alignment as you go; accuracy matters more than raw speed. • Keep a brief log of any unclear entries you had to flag so I can review them later. Acceptance criteria • 100 % of records from every Word document captured. • Error rate below 1 %. • Final deliverable returned as a clean .xlsx file plus the issue log.
