I want to take my existing workbooks to the next level by combining Excel’s new Copilot capabilities with ChatGPT prompts. The goal is to streamline complex analysis, speed-up formula creation, and add conversational querying directly inside Excel. Here’s what I need: • A step-by-step setup of Copilot in Microsoft 365, including any add-ins or connectors required to surface GPT-powered suggestions inside my worksheets. • Practical examples that show how natural-language prompts can translate into formulas, dynamic arrays, conditional logic, and quick data exploration. • Demonstrations of how ChatGPT can be called from within Excel—either through native functions, Power Query, or lightweight VBA—so I can ask questions about my data and receive structured answers back into cells. • A reusable workbook template with annotated code or scripts, plus brief documentation explaining how to adapt the approach to new datasets. Acceptance criteria 1. Copilot is enabled and working in my tenant or demo environment. 2. At least three sample use-cases are fully implemented (e.g., automatic KPI summary, on-the-fly chart creation, and conversational error-tracing of formulas). 3. All custom code is commented, and I can reproduce the workflow on a fresh file. You’re free to recommend libraries, GPT functions, or additional Microsoft 365 tools if they make the process smoother, as long as everything stays within a typical enterprise security posture.
