I’m assembling a high-intensity course that revisits the fundamentals of network security from an advanced practitioner’s perspective. The participants are seasoned security engineers and architects who already speak the language; what they need is a fresh, up-to-date look at core concepts, modern threat landscapes, and the tooling that underpins today’s best practices. What I need you to do • Design a cohesive curriculum that fits into two eight-hour live sessions (remote delivery). • Prepare slide decks, instructor notes, lab guides, and sample PCAPs or VM images so learners can test concepts hands-on. • Include real-world case studies that illustrate defence in depth, segmentation strategy, IDS/IPS tuning, and incident detection workflows. • Deliver the sessions live over Zoom or a comparable platform and remain available for a short Q&A clinic afterward. • Provide a short knowledge assessment so attendees can gauge mastery of the material. Acceptance criteria • All materials must be original or properly licensed. • Labs must run on readily available, free tools (Wireshark, Suricata/Snort, Zeek, pfSense, Docker-based sandboxes, etc.). • Final assets are handed over in editable formats (PowerPoint/Keynote, Markdown, or PDF for static docs). • Session recordings remain my property for internal replay. When you apply, focus on the experience that proves you can teach advanced professionals—mention previous corporate workshops, conference talks, or courseware you’ve built. No need for a lengthy proposal; a concise summary of your background and a pointer to any sample content will tell me everything I need.
