Deep expertise in any ONE of Python, Java, Go, Rust, Node.js, C, or C++ as core backend language, plus working knowledge of a second backend language. Must have built and operated production microservices or event-driven systems using Kafka, RabbitMQ, or gRPC on AWS or GCP with Docker and basic Kubernetes. Should have integrated at least one AI/LLM API into a real, shipped product feature. Comfortable with one relational and one NoSQL database (Redis a plus). Must state a clear, quantified before/after metric on their resume. Prior experience working with remote or international clients required. Exposure to secure data handling or compliance (PCI DSS, HIPAA, SOC2) is a plus.
