I have prepared a concise technical exercise that covers the complete workflow of a modern web application, from database layer to browser. The specification document is already written and will be shared immediately after we start; please follow it exactly and return a fully working solution. Scope • The assignment is strictly full-stack, so plan to wire up everything end-to-end. • Frontend must be built with React. Feel free to enrich it with hooks, TypeScript, Redux Toolkit or any other React-friendly utilities you prefer, as long as setup and usage are clear. • Backend must run on Node.js. You may structure it with Express, NestJS or a lightweight custom framework; again, keep dependencies reasonable and document any architectural decisions. • Persist data in the store of your choice (e.g. MongoDB, PostgreSQL, SQLite); migrations or seed scripts are welcome if they help reviewers spin things up fast. Deliverables 1. Source code in a public or private Git repository. 2. A README that explains installation, environment variables, and start commands for both client and server. 3. Postman or cURL collection covering every API endpoint. 4. Short write-up (max one page) describing your approach, trade-offs, and anything you would improve with more time. Acceptance criteria • Application builds and runs locally with a single “npm install && npm run dev” (monorepo) or two simple commands for client/server. • Frontend consumes the backend you created—no mocked data left in production code. • Code is clean, idiomatic, and lint-error free. • README steps reproducibly launch the project on macOS, Linux, or Windows.
