This project requires a highly skilled and experienced professional, so I need to verify relevant experience before proceeding with a conversation. Please share a GitHub repository demonstrating relevant project experience. This is required; if you cannot provide one, I will not consider your application. We are building an AI-powered workflow to complete medical forms using structured medical records as the source of truth. We receive a wide variety of PDFs with different layouts. Many forms request similar underlying information related to diagnoses, treatment plans, functional limitations, work restrictions, and leave requirements. Some PDFs contain fillable fields, while others are scanned or visually structured documents without embedded form fields. Today, our operations team completes these forms manually. Our goal is to generate reliable AI-assisted drafts so operators can primarily review, edit, and approve submissions. We are targeting approximately 15 completed forms per hour while maintaining or improving accuracy. We are looking for someone who has built similar production systems and can help us identify and implement the fastest credible path to this outcome. Scope of Work Review our existing workflow, architecture, and AI form-filling system Recommend the best approach for both known and unseen form formats Map information from structured medical records into form-specific questions Complete both fillable and non-fillable PDFs Implement validation, confidence scoring, source evidence, and human review workflows Define an evaluation framework based on field-level accuracy and operator edits Build and test an initial production-ready workflow Ideal Experience Production experience with AI document-processing or form-filling systems OCR, document understanding, PDF manipulation, and structured data extraction LLM workflows with validation and human-in-the-loop review Strong Python experience and familiarity with modern AI APIs Experience handling sensitive healthcare data is a plus Important We are not looking for someone whose experience is limited to chatbots, basic RAG systems, or simple OCR extraction.
