I’m developing a new story set squarely in the Aliens universe and I need a visual partner who can translate my words into striking imagery. The job begins with loose concept sketches of characters in my story and moves through to polished, publication-ready illustrations that will sit alongside the final manuscript. If published, you will get your name out there. The tone is pure sci-fi: cold metal, corporate secrecy, evolutionary terror. I already have a roster of named characters and key moments mapped out; once you’re on board I’ll share detailed scene briefs so you can start visual exploration straight away. A solid familiarity with the franchise, military, covert ops language, Weyland-Yutani aesthetics, and the overall lore is essential because accuracy matters to the readership we’re aiming for. Digital tools such as Photoshop, Procreate, or Clip Studio are fine as long as you can deliver layered, high-resolution files ready for print and e-book use. Deliverables (exact count negotiable) • Employee ID type photos, portraits, and a full body shot for each principal character (10 characters in total). I also want to create a 'company ID' which will show some of their personal information and an ID image of the character. • Several images of two different spacecraft. I will provide examples to be modified to my specifications. • Source files + flattened print-ready versions in TIFF or PNG Acceptance Criteria - completed to my satisfaction, vision of each character. Visual continuity with established Aliens canon and my written briefs. It is to aid in visualisation of the characters I have created predominantly.
