I need a lightweight Android application that I can run from my local machine (localhost / emulator) and export as an APK. Its core purpose is simple: display a “preoutcome” value to the user before any further action is taken. I will handle the back-end logic that generates this value; you will focus on the Android front end, the connection to my localhost endpoint, and the clean presentation of the result. Please build with standard Android tools (Android Studio, Kotlin or Java—your choice) so I can open, tweak, and re-build the project easily. Keep the interface minimal yet clear: a single screen that fetches the data from http://localhost or 10.0.2.2 (for emulator), shows a loading state, then renders the preoutcome. No additional features such as in-app purchases or notifications are needed. Deliverables: • Full Android Studio project with well-commented code • Installable debug APK that I can sideload on a device or emulator • Brief README explaining how to point the app to my local server and re-compile Acceptance criteria: launching the APK on an emulator that is serving my endpoint locally should fetch and visibly display the preoutcome without crashes, errors, or network permission issues (remember to add INTERNET permission in the manifest).
