Descripción de la oferta

I need an Android app that lets me upload a simple text or CSV file containing vehicle registration numbers—around 30 – 50 plates in one go—and then returns the date of the most recent V5C (log-book) change for each one. The flow I have in mind is straightforward: pick a local file, tap “Check”, the app hits the relevant DVLA / vehicle-data endpoint for every plate in the file, and finally shows (and optionally exports) a neatly formatted list that pairs each registration with its last V5C update date. A progress indicator is essential so I know something is happening while the batch runs, and failed look-ups should be flagged rather than silently ignored. I will provide test files and a small set of plates that you can use during development. Please build for the current Android SDK, keep permissions to a minimum, and write clean, well-commented code so I can extend it later if needed. Deliverables • Signed APK plus source code (Gradle project) • Brief read-me covering build steps, any third-party APIs or keys used, and file-format expectations • A short screen-capture or screenshots proving it can process at least one 50-plate file without crashing Acceptance I’ll consider the job complete when I can install the APK on a stock Android device, load a sample CSV of 50 registrations, press “Check”, and receive an on-screen list (and optional CSV export) showing accurate V5C change dates for every successful query.
