I need a straightforward Android alarm application built from the ground up. The focus is on clean, reliable functionality rather than elaborate UI flourishes, so you can move quickly and keep the code base lean. Core requirements • Snooze functionality • Custom alarm tones (users should be able to pick any audio file stored on their device) • Recurring alarms with flexible scheduling options Calendar integration When an alarm is created, I want the app to add a matching event to the user’s default Calendar so upcoming alarms are visible alongside regular appointments. One-way syncing is enough; no need to update the alarm if the Calendar entry is edited later. Scope and deliverables 1. Android Studio project with well-commented Kotlin or Java code (Kotlin preferred). 2. Signed APK ready for installation plus instructions for side-loading. 3. Brief README outlining build steps, key classes, and how the Calendar API is used. 4. One revision round to iron out bugs found during initial testing on a Pixel device running Android 13.
