Both my School Management and Gym Management Android apps are already live on the Play Store, with real users relying on them every day. I now need an experienced Android developer who can jump in immediately, study the existing codebase, and keep the releases moving without interruption. You will be responsible for squashing any production bugs as they appear, refining the UI for smoother user journeys, and adding new feature requests that come from school administrators, teachers, gym owners, and members. The current stack is standard Android SDK with Kotlin and a sprinkling of Java, Retrofit-based REST calls, Firebase push notifications, and Room for local persistence, all under version control in Git. If you are comfortable working in that environment and can turn around fixes or new modules quickly, you will fit right in. Typical weekly work looks like this: • Analyse a reported issue or change request • Patch, test, and commit to the main branch • Produce an updated, signed release build ready for Play Store rollout • Write a short changelog so the operations team knows exactly what went live Because the apps are already in production, clear communication and reliable turnaround times are more important than pixel-perfect mock-ups.
