I need a skilled Android developer who can take my concept for a social networking platform and turn it into a polished, production-ready app. The goal is an intuitive space where users can create profiles, connect with one another, share updates in a scrollable feed, and communicate in real time. We will start with a brief discovery call so I can walk you through the user flow and brand direction. From there, I expect you to handle architecture planning, UI implementation in line with Material Design guidelines, and integration of a reliable backend (Firebase, Supabase, or a stack you propose). Clean, well-commented Kotlin or modern Java is preferred, and the project should compile smoothly in the latest stable release of Android Studio. Deliverables • Complete Android Studio project with source code • Signed APK / AAB ready for Play Store submission • Basic admin or analytics panel setup (even a simple Firebase dashboard is fine) • Read-me style documentation covering build steps, environment variables, and third-party services • One post-handover bug-fix sprint (up to two weeks) Acceptance criteria • App installs and runs without crashes on Android 10 and above • Users can register, log in, edit a profile, post updates (text and image), follow/unfollow, and exchange direct messages • All network calls and user data are secured with HTTPS and authenticated requests • UI matches provided mock-ups within reason, with responsive layouts for phones and small tablets If you have experience shipping social apps, implementing push notifications, or scaling Firebase, that will be a huge plus.
