I’m building a focused productivity app for Android that helps users organise their tasks quickly and stay on track throughout the day. The core of the product is a robust task-management module: users need to be able to create, edit, prioritise, and mark tasks complete with a fluid, modern Material 3 interface. Smooth performance on current Android versions is essential. If you have experience integrating extras such as calendar hooks or note snippets, let me know—I may extend the scope once the base release is stable, but for now I’m concentrating on best-in-class task handling. Deliverables • Fully-functioning Android (Kotlin or Java) app with task-management features described above • Clean, well-commented source code ready for hand-off in Git repository • Signed APK or AAB suitable for Play Store testing • Basic README explaining build steps and key architecture decisions Acceptance Criteria • Tasks can be added, edited, reordered by drag-and-drop, and archived without crashes on Android 12+ • UI follows Google’s Material Design guidelines and adapts to light/dark modes • Local data persists across app restarts using Room or an equivalent on-device database • Code passes a quick review for clarity, modularity, and adherence to Kotlin/Java best practices I’m ready to move quickly once I find the right developer, so please share one or two relevant apps you have shipped and your estimated timeline for a solid MVP.
