I need an Android-only application that lets my staff record each tenant’s electricity consumption and instantly produce a PDF bill at our pre-set rate. How it should work • Staff open the app, choose or enter the tenant ID, type in the current meter reading number and the reading date. • The app calculates usage against the last saved reading, multiplies it by the fixed tariff I will provide, then creates a neat, printable PDF bill. • A copy of every bill and the underlying readings must remain stored in the device (and, if a data connection is available, backed up to a small cloud database or Google Drive folder) so we always have easy access to past records. Key expectations • Clean, minimal interface that any non-technical staff member can learn in minutes. • Accurate calculations based on the single, unchanging rate I supply. • Auto-generated PDF that includes our logo, tenant details, reading dates, units consumed, per-unit rate, total amount, and an optional paid/unpaid stamp. • Simple tenant list management: add, edit, or deactivate tenants without losing their history. Deliverables 1. Signed APK for installation on our phones. 2. Complete Android Studio source code. 3. One sample PDF bill demonstrating the final layout. 4. Short user guide (PDF or DOCX) showing basic app workflow. Acceptance The project is complete when a test on my own Android device lets me enter a reading, press “Generate Bill,” and receive a correctly calculated, professionally formatted PDF stored locally and viewable in any PDF reader.
