Architect / Architectural Draftsperson Required for Residential Working Drawings (Independent Houses & Multi-Dwelling Projects)

We are looking for an experienced Architect or Architectural Draftsperson to prepare complete construction working drawings for residential projects. The projects include independent villas, duplex houses, luxury residences, row houses, and multi-dwelling residential developments. We are looking for a reliable professional for a long-term working relationship, as we have multiple projects throughout the year. Scope of Work The selected freelancer will be responsible for preparing a complete set of architectural working drawings based on concept plans or approved layouts. The drawing package should be construction-ready and suitable for execution on site. The scope includes preparation of site plans, floor plans, roof plans, elevations, building sections, staircase details, door and window schedules, toilet and kitchen details, flooring layouts, reflected ceiling plans where required, joinery details, compound wall and gate details, external development drawings, waterproofing details, construction details, material notes, general notes, area statements, drawing index and revision management. The drawings should be coordinated with structural and MEP requirements wherever necessary. Deliverables The final deliverables shall include editable AutoCAD DWG files or Autodesk Revit RVT files (preferred), along with PDF drawing sets suitable for printing. All files should be properly organised, layered, and named. Candidate Requirements Applicants should have a minimum of five years of experience in preparing residential working drawings. Strong proficiency in AutoCAD is essential, while experience in Autodesk Revit and BIM workflows will be considered an advantage. The candidate should be capable of converting concept drawings into detailed construction drawings with excellent attention to detail and a thorough understanding of residential construction practices and building regulations. Preferred Experience Experience with independent villas, luxury homes, duplexes, apartment buildings, gated communities, and multi-dwelling residential projects will be highly preferred.
