I’m looking for a solid technical blueprint that will let my development team build a cross-platform (iOS and Android) astrology app with the polish and reliability of Astrotalk. The design has to cover every layer—from user-facing features down to database tables—so we can move straight into coding once the architecture is approved. Core experience and scope The finished product must let users open the app, start a live chat with astrologers, read daily horoscope updates, and purchase fully personalised reports. I also want an in-app flow for gemstone recommendations and related pooja services, plus a lightweight blog section where we can publish articles and push notifications for new posts. What I need from you • High-level and low-level architecture diagrams (component, sequence, data flow) • Technology stack recommendation for a single shared codebase that still feels native on both platforms (React Native, Flutter, or another approach—justify your choice) • Scalable real-time messaging design for astrologer chat (WebSocket or equivalent) with encryption and session logging • Database schema covering user profiles, horoscope/calculation tables, chat logs, order tracking for gemstones and pooja bookings, and CMS tables for the blog • Third-party and in-house astrology calculation engines: how they plug into the backend, required cron jobs for daily horoscope generation, and caching strategy • Payment gateway integration outline that supports one-time and subscription models • Admin panel modules (content management, astrologer onboarding, dispute handling, analytics) • Security considerations: GDPR-ready user data handling, token-based auth, role management, and secure media storage • CI/CD and cloud deployment plan with autoscaling and monitoring hooks Acceptance criteria The design must be clear enough that a mid-level developer can implement each module without further clarification. I’ll consider the job complete when the diagrams, written specifications, and stack justifications are delivered in editable formats (Figma or Draw.io for visuals, Markdown/Docx for text) and all my follow-up questions have been answered.
