Australian Resource Camps Database Research

I need a fast yet methodical desktop-research exercise that results in a clean, well-structured spreadsheet of accommodation camps that service Australia’s resources sector. Think FIFO villages and remote workforce camps attached to mines, gas fields, rail projects, ports or exploration hubs—if it houses workers in the resources game, I want it captured. Scope • Nationwide coverage: WA, QLD, NT, SA, NSW, VIC, TAS. • Data points per camp: official name, nearest project or mine, company that owns / operates it, state & region, GPS coordinates, capacity (beds or rooms), current status (operational, under construction, closed), and the primary source link you used. • Reliable sources only: company announcements, ASX releases, government databases, reputable industry news, or the operator’s own website. • Output: Excel or Google Sheet, ready for filtering and pivoting, with consistent data validation and no duplicates. Timing The job is time-critical—I need a workable first draft inside a few days and the complete set ASAP after that. Acceptance criteria 1. Minimum 200 unique camps listed. 2. Every row fully populated or clearly marked “N/A”. 3. All links live and traceable back to source. 4. No obvious omissions in the major mining regions (Pilbara, Bowen Basin, Hunter, etc.). When you respond, focus on your direct experience with similar resource-sector or location-based datasets and tell me how quickly you can turn around the first draft.
