I have a UK-based Shopify store that is already connected to ShipStation. I recently tagged eight specific products for international sale, complete with weights, dimensions, HS codes and country-of-origin data. What I still need is the final layer of automation so customers abroad see accurate, location-based shipping rates pulled directly from ShipStation’s carrier options and, at checkout, the system also generates the correct export and customs paperwork without any manual touchpoints. Here is what success looks like for me: • Live rate quotes: When an international customer adds any of the eight products to the cart, Shopify should fetch real-time rates from ShipStation (Royal Mail, DHL, Parcelforce, etc.) and display the options clearly at checkout. • Automated declarations: As soon as the order is completed, ShipStation must create the CN22/CN23 or commercial invoice with the HS code, item description, value and origin that I’ve already stored in Shopify, ready to print alongside the label. • Error-free sync: Any edits I make to product data in Shopify (weight, HS code, price) should sync to ShipStation without breaking the automation. Feel free to make use of ShipStation Automations, Shopify Carrier Service API, or any other best-practice methods you prefer—just let me know what you need on my end to grant access and test. Deliverable: a fully working setup demonstrated with at least one successful international test order, plus a brief note or screen-share walkthrough so I can maintain the workflow myself after you hand it over.
