I run a small bakery and I’m ready to replace scattered notebooks and ad-hoc files with one streamlined Google Sheet that does the heavy lifting for me. The sheet must automatically handle three things: • Inventory management—every time I log raw-material purchases or finished-goods sales, current stock levels should update instantly, flagging low-stock items without any manual calculation. • Sales reporting—daily and monthly snapshots, top-selling items, and a clear view of total revenue pulled straight from the live data. • Purchase–sales profit & loss—an always-up-to-date P&L that compares ingredient costs against product sales so I can see profit margins at a glance. I imagine separate input tabs for purchases and sales, a protected formulas tab that crunches the numbers, and a clean dashboard for quick insights. Smart use of QUERY, ARRAYFORMULA, pivot tables, data validation, and conditional formatting is welcome so the file stays fast and fool-proof. Acceptance criteria: 1. Entering a purchase or sale instantly updates inventory, sales figures, and the P&L sheet without additional clicks. 2. Low-stock alerts appear automatically when an item drops below a threshold I can edit. 3. Dashboard summaries refresh in real time and are easy to print or export as PDF. 4. All formulas are transparent, commented, and free of external add-ons so I can maintain the file in-house.
