I need an Excel-based cash sheet that works out each staff member’s earnings for the week at the click of a button. Every employee is linked to a route, and each route already carries a fixed price. Because people swap routes whenever someone is on holiday or away, I have to be able to change those assignments quickly and have the totals refresh automatically. Here’s the workflow I’m after: • A master “Route List” where I enter or edit route names and their current prices. • A “Weekly Pay” sheet that lets me assign a route to each staff member (preferably through a drop-down tied to the master list), then instantly pulls in the price and shows the final amount owed. • When a route is changed—or a new one is added—the sheet should recalculate without any extra steps. • At week’s end I want an easy way to archive the data so I can start fresh while still keeping a record. be able to search for staff via name and not a code Formulas, lookups, and even a touch of VBA are fine as long as everything stays transparent and editable—I’ll need to adjust prices myself from time to time.
