I run Peak Energy Solutions in Canada and I’m ready to move beyond traditional energy dashboards. I need a senior-level full-stack architect who can take an idea sketched on paper and turn it into a production-grade, multi-tenant cloud platform on Microsoft Azure with Fabric as the backbone. The platform must ingest high-frequency data from meters and IoT devices, store it efficiently, then surface insights through an AI layer that will: • Analyze building data to find energy savings • Predict maintenance issues before they become downtime • Provide actionable recommendations that a facility team can trust and act on Examples: Today's Energy Use ✔ Electricity ✔ Refrigeration ✔ HVAC ✔ Water ✔ Gas Today's AI Findings ⚠ RTU 12 is short cycling Potential Savings: $4,100/year ⚠ Refrigeration rack maintaining colder temperatures overnight than required. Potential Savings: $9,800/year ⚠ Anti-sweat heaters operating at 92% overnight. Potential Savings: $4,700/year Role-based access is essential. At minimum the system must distinguish between Administrator, Facility Manager, and Energy Analyst so each sees the right data, controls, and reports. I’m expecting you to own the architecture—data models, API design, front-end framework, CI/CD pipeline, security hardening, and automated testing—while keeping future modules and machine-learning models in mind. If you’ve shipped SaaS on Azure, tuned Fabric Lakehouses, and integrated MLOps workflows, you’ll feel at home here. Deliverables I will review for the initial milestone: 1. High-level architecture diagram with tech stack choices and reasoning 2. Clickable prototype or skeleton app that demonstrates multi-tenant login and role separation 3. Data pipeline outline showing how raw streams land in Fabric, are transformed, and become feature-ready for the AI service 4. Roadmap with estimates for the first production release Clean, well-documented code and clear commit history are non-negotiable.
