I want to ship the first, fully usable version of a social-media application that covers the essentials without bloat. Users should be able to create an account with email + password and secure it further through optional two-factor authentication. Once inside, they need their own profile page, the ability to follow others, exchange private messages in real time, watch and create short “reel-style” clips, and browse a simple chronological feed that shows text updates, photo/video uploads, and live-stream announcements. Security matters—hashed passwords, protected APIs, and message encryption (or at least secure transport) must be in place from day one. I’m happy for you to choose the stack you’re fastest with—Flutter, React Native, Swift/Kotlin, or even a PWA—as long as the code is clean, documented, and ready for hand-off. A lightweight admin panel for user moderation and basic analytics will round things out. Deliverables • Full source code (mobile app + backend) • README / setup guide, including build and deployment steps • API documentation (Swagger or similar) • Short demo video or live test build proving login, posting, messaging, and live stream entry all work Acceptance criteria: the app installs on Android and iOS, a new user can sign up, post a text update, upload a photo, start a live stream stub, send/receive a direct message, and log out without errors.
