Scope of the content The manuscript should walk readers through: • Cable not charging or charging intermittently • Broken or damaged connectors • Loose USB, Type-C, and Lightning ports • Overheating of chargers or cables • Slow charging and power-adapter issues • Insulation cracks, frays, or burns • Cleaning, maintenance, and storage best practices • Safe, step-by-step testing routines with basic multimeter and visual tools • Decision trees on when to repair versus replace • Essential safety precautions to avoid electric shock, short circuits, or device damage Structure & style 1. Plain-language explanations backed by correct electrical terms. 2. Sequential, illustrated procedures (photos or diagrams can be noted in the draft; I will commission artwork separately). 3. Real-world examples: e.g., why a phone pauses at 80 % or how a bent pin ruins a Type-C port. 4. Logical chapter flow from fundamentals → fault finding → fixes → prevention. 5. A concise glossary and quick-reference tables for voltage, current, and wire-gauge limits.
