Coast Liquor is a high-traffic liquor and convenience store located in Laguna Beach, California. We are building a new paid brand-partnership program for beverage, snack, wellness, beauty, beach, and lifestyle companies. We are looking for a Southern California-based freelancer who can help build and sell this program from the ground up. The program will offer brands: * Paid product testing and sampling events * Premium shelf, cooler, counter, and window placement * In-store advertising and branded displays * New-product launch campaigns * Customer feedback and basic sales-performance reporting * Social-media and content add-ons when appropriate We have already seen strong results from an in-store tasting that sold 12 champagne bottles and 10 four-packs during the activation. We also have existing street-facing window advertising at the store. The freelancer will be responsible for: * Reviewing photos, video, and available advertising spaces inside and outside the store * Creating clear, professional campaign packages and pricing * Helping develop a media kit and sales presentation * Building a targeted list of relevant Southern California and national brands * Contacting founders, brand managers, distributors, sales teams, and marketing decision-makers * Conducting cold email, LinkedIn, phone, and other outbound outreach * Booking meetings and presenting the opportunity * Negotiating and closing paid campaigns * Coordinating tastings, placements, displays, and brand activations * Tracking leads and conversations in a shared CRM or spreadsheet * Creating simple post-campaign reports that help brands decide whether to renew We are specifically looking for someone with experience in one or more of the following: * CPG, food, beverage, wine, spirits, snacks, wellness, or lifestyle brands * Brand partnerships * Sponsorship or advertising sales * Retail media or paid retail placement * Experiential marketing and sampling activations * Business development or B2B sales * Vendor and distributor relationships * Merchandising and retail campaign execution
