I need an e-commerce website developed from the ground up, with product reviews as the headline feature. Every item in the catalogue should allow customers to leave star ratings and written feedback, and I must be able to approve, hide, or respond to those reviews from an admin dashboard. The tech stack is flexible—Shopify, WooCommerce, Laravel, React + Node, or another modern framework you’re comfortable with—so long as the code is clean, secure, and easy for my team to maintain. While this first phase focuses on the catalogue and review system, please keep the architecture open for future additions such as a payment gateway and full shopping-cart flow; I don’t want to retrofit core logic later. Deliverables • Responsive storefront with searchable product catalogue • Review module (star rating, text comments, spam filtering, moderation controls) • Admin panel for product management and review moderation • SEO-friendly URLs and basic on-page optimisation • Setup instructions and brief hand-off documentation Acceptance Criteria • All pages load in under 3 s on mobile and desktop (Lighthouse performance ≥ 90). • Reviews persist correctly in the database and display instantly after approval. • Source code passes a quick security audit (no obvious SQL injection or XSS vectors). • Deployment steps reproduce the live site on a fresh server in one pass.
