The platform’s heartbeat will be a smooth upload flow, adaptive streaming, and quick media compression so content looks great without slowing anyone down. Key interactions include the familiar rhythm of likes and threaded comments, plus in-app filters and simple editing tools so creators can tweak photos or clips before publishing. A swipeable feed, real-time notifications, and solid profile management should anchor the first release, with architecture flexible enough to layer in cross-platform reposting later. I’d like the build on a scalable cloud stack—AWS, GCP, or similar—paired with a modern UI framework such as React (web) and React Native or Flutter (mobile). Clean, well-documented REST or GraphQL APIs are essential, as is secure authentication and basic moderation tooling out of the gate.
