Descripción de la oferta

I need a native C++ console application that behaves as a lightweight system utility. The tool will run entirely in the terminal: it accepts user commands through standard input, executes the requested operation, and prints clear, structured results to standard output. Core requirement • Implement an “add reference” function. When the user submits a line of reference data, the program should parse it, store it (in memory and optionally to disk), then confirm success back to the console. All reads and writes must be safe, with sensible error handling and meaningful status messages. Technical expectations • Modern C++ (C++17 or newer) written for cross-platform builds on Windows, macOS, and Linux. • Clean, modular code organised by purpose; no heavyweight frameworks. STL, , and one lightweight third-party library are acceptable, but keep external dependencies to a minimum. • Provide a CMakeLists.txt (or Makefile + MSVC solution) so the project builds with a single command on the three major toolchains (gcc/clang/MSVC). • Follow standard naming conventions and add concise comments explaining any non-obvious logic. • The utility must exit gracefully on invalid input and return appropriate exit codes for scripting use. Deliverables 1. Complete, well-commented source code. 2. Build script(s) and brief README with compilation and run instructions. 3. Example session showing reference input and corresponding console output. After awarding the project, I’ll share the exact input syntax, required storage format, and any edge-case scenarios to cover.
