I need an Android application built specifically for my chartered accountancy firm so that we can manage clients more efficiently. The single, non-negotiable feature for this first release is secure document sharing. Each client should be able to log in, upload or download files (PDF, Excel, images, etc.), and receive a push notification when new documents are available. On my side, I want a simple dashboard to assign files to individual client profiles and track whether they have been viewed. Security and ease of use are my top priorities, so please incorporate best-practice encryption for data in transit and at rest, along with fingerprint or face unlock support if the device allows it. A clean, professional UI that carries our firm’s branding would be appreciated. Deliverables • Android app (phone-optimised, minimum target SDK 24) • Admin dashboard or integrated admin panel for document assignment • Source code in a private Git repository • Short hand-over guide covering build steps, environment setup, and key modules Acceptance criteria • A client can register, sign in, upload, and download documents without crashes or timeouts. • Documents remain inaccessible to any user other than the intended client. • Push notifications trigger within five seconds of a document upload in testing. • Codebase passes a quick security scan for common Android vulnerabilities. I’m open to using native Kotlin with Android Jetpack components or a reliable cross-platform stack if it meets the same security and performance standards.
