I’m ready to move from design straight into production and need a specialist who can set up a complete computer-aided manufacturing workflow for metal turning. The goal is to take my existing CAD models and produce reliable, repeatable CNC-ready toolpaths that run flawlessly on a lathe. You’ll be responsible for configuring the CAM environment, selecting appropriate cutting parameters for metals, generating and verifying G-code, and making sure the post-processor matches my machine controller. If you prefer Mastercam, Fusion 360, SolidWorks CAM or another professional package, let me know—what matters most is a smooth hand-off from design to chips on the floor. Deliverables • CAM project file with all operations defined • Verified G-code ready for upload to the lathe • Setup sheet outlining tools, feeds, speeds, and workholding • Brief hand-over notes so I can repeat or tweak the process later Acceptance criteria: the code runs dry without alarms, simulated material removal matches the drawing, and surface finish goals are met on a sample metal part.
