I need an extra pair of hands to complete a round of local candidate background checks. The task centres on three verification pillars—Employment history, Education, and personal/ professional References—and involves gathering proof through Web search and then confirming details directly with employers, institutions, or referees by phone or email when needed. You will receive a spreadsheet that lists each candidate along with the data points to confirm. Your job is to: • Locate reliable contact information via web searches (company sites, LinkedIn, alumni portals, etc.). • Reach out and document confirmations, noting dates of employment, degrees earned, and reference feedback. • Update the shared sheet in real time so I can track progress. Accuracy and clear note-taking are essential; I will review each entry before signing it off. Familiarity with Google Workspace or Excel, strong phone etiquette, and persistence in chasing unanswered calls or emails will set you up for success. All candidates are local, so time-zone alignment is straightforward. Turnaround is one week from assignment, with partial submissions welcome as you progress.
