Your own sensitivity to these subjects is essential, as the illustrations must respect the weight of every scene without slipping into exploitation. Visual Expectations I picture moderately detailed, clean lines—think clear panel composition that keeps the pace moving while still allowing emotion to breathe. If you work comfortably in Clip Studio Paint or a similar digital toolset, all the better; layered files will streamline our revision passes.
