Cemetery Memory Sharing App Development

I’m building TOMBA, a mobile app that lets anyone standing in front of a grave instantly see who lies there. When a visitor scans or searches a name, the app should open a profile that shows the person’s image—or, if the family prefers, a short video tribute—and a few key details. At minimum the profile must display: • Obituary details • Family tree links • A pinpoint grave-location map Family members will be the only people allowed to add or update content, and they must be able to do it right inside the app with a quick “upload photo / upload video” flow. No web portals or email submissions—everything happens natively. Core needs I’d like you to cover • iOS and Android MVP, clean and intuitive UI • Secure login / family-member verification before any upload is accepted • Fast media handling: automatic resizing, basic moderation queue, easy playback in-app • Search by name or by walking up and tapping a “scan headstone” button (open to QR, NFC, or image recognition—whichever is most reliable) • Cloud database that keeps profiles, media, and location data in sync • Room to integrate with services such as Ancestry later, so clear API structure from day one Please describe any map, media-storage, or verification frameworks you’d lean on and show me one comparable project you’ve shipped. After hand-off, I want to be able to upload a few test profiles myself and walk a cemetery to confirm everything works end to end.
