Build a Mobile-First Recipe App for Central Kitchen I am looking for an experienced developer to build a simple, fast, and reliable recipe application for our Central Kitchen operation. This app will be used by cooks during production, so speed and ease of use are the highest priorities. The recipes already exist as individual PNG image files (one image per recipe), and the goal is to make them quickly accessible from any phone, tablet, or computer. The application should have a clean home screen with the following categories: Salad Team Cold Side Hot Side TTG When a user taps a category, they should see a searchable list of recipes. Tapping a recipe should open the recipe image in full screen with pinch-to-zoom support on mobile devices. The interface should be extremely simple, fast, and designed for use in a busy kitchen environment. The application should work as a Progressive Web App (PWA), allowing it to be installed on iPhone, Android, tablets, Windows, and Mac. It should work offline after the initial download, require no login, and Version 1 should not require a database. My recipes are already organized as individual image files inside folders, for example: Salad/ (S) Chicken Caesar Salad.png (S) Antipasto Salad.png (S) Insalata Fresca Salad.png Cold Side/ ... Hot Side/ ... The application should be designed so that adding new recipes is extremely easy. Ideally, I should only have to drag a new image into the correct folder, publish the update, and have the recipe automatically appear in the app without modifying multiple files. Preferred Technology The project has already been started using React + Vite, but I am open to other technologies if they provide a simpler, faster, and easier-to-maintain solution. Budget CAD $300–$800 for Version 1, depending on experience and proposed solution. Timeline 3–7 days preferred. Questions to Answer When Applying 1. Confidentiality & Ownership This project contains proprietary recipes, operational procedures, and confidential Central Kitchen information. The selected freelancer must treat all project materials as strictly confidential and may not copy, share, reuse, publish, or distribute any part of the application, recipes, images, source code, or documentation for any purpose other than completing this project. A signed Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) is preferred before work begins. All source code, designs, documentation, assets, and intellectual property created during this project become my exclusive property upon payment. The freelancer may not reuse any part of this project in future work, portfolios, demonstrations, or public repositories without my prior written permission. The GitHub repository must remain private at all times. The freelancer will work only within my private GitHub repository or provide code directly to me for review. No code, images, or project files may be uploaded to any public repository. Any AI tools used during development (such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Cursor, Claude, etc.) must not upload or retain confidential project data beyond what is necessary to generate code. No recipe images or confidential operational information may be used for training datasets or shared publicly. Upon project completion, the freelancer must provide all source code, documentation, build instructions, deployment instructions, and any access credentials used during development, and must permanently delete all copies of the project from their personal devices and accounts.
