Half of my custom-coded chess platform is already live, built with a mix of JavaScript on the front end and Python / Java services on the back. Unfortunately, the current state falls short on design, functionality, and overall performance, so I need a fresh developer (or small team) to step in, audit what exists, and carry the project through to a polished, scalable release. The codebase is available in Git and runs correctly in staging, but key modules are unfinished. Top of the queue is an authentic post-game analysis engine that offers players deep insights into their moves; I’m happy to scope and price that as its own milestone, then schedule further enhancements such as UI overhaul, speed optimisation, and new feature rollout. What I expect from the first engagement: • A concise technical audit outlining code quality, security risks, and effort estimates for each pending feature • Completion of the post-game analysis module, including integration with existing match storage and a clean, responsive UI element to display the results • Refactoring or redesign of any code that blocks solid performance or future scalability • A brief hand-over document and walk-through video so future contributors can jump in quickly I’m comfortable structuring the work in phased, costed deliverables and welcome your input on the best order of attack.
