I’m hosting a one-day educational and career exploration event on Chicago’s South Side this Friday and I need an extra set of eyes and energy in the room. Your core job will be to keep a small group—fewer than ten middle-school students—on task, on time, and moving smoothly from one mini-session to the next. The day runs 7:30 AM to 2:30 PM. Please arrive a few minutes early, come in business-casual (polo or blouse with khaki or dress slacks), and be ready to stay engaged the entire time. Breakfast, lunch, a secure building, and free gated parking are provided, and you’ll receive a flat $125 stipend when we wrap up. No heavy lifting. We have adults to supervise, we only need you to watch a clock and assist. If you have experience supervising youth, coaching, tutoring, or simply have the patience and presence to guide kids through a busy schedule, I’d love to speak with you. Because the event is almost here, I’m interviewing today and tomorrow—quick phone or video chat, whichever is easiest. Key deliverables for the day: • Keep your students accounted for and attentive during each session • Give presenters a two-minute warning so we stay on schedule • Escort your group between rooms and to meals • Note any issues or standout moments and share a brief recap before you leave That’s it—straightforward, hands-on help to make the event run smoothly. If you’re available, reliable, and ready to jump in, please reach out right away so we can confirm details.
