I’m preparing a new children’s book and now I need vibrant, story-driven illustrations that capture young readers’ imaginations. The project revolves entirely around graphic design—more precisely, illustration—so I’m counting on your artistic flair to bring each page to life. Scope The manuscript is ready, and I can share a detailed scene-by-scene brief along with reference sketches that hint at the mood and color palette I have in mind. In total there are 12 interior spreads plus a front cover. I prefer warm, expressive characters, clear emotions, and backgrounds that support the narrative without overpowering it. File & format expectations • Full-color, print-ready CMYK TIFF or PSD at 300 dpi for each spread • Layered source files so text balloons and minor elements remain editable • A separate high-resolution JPG of the cover for marketing Workflow 1. Rough character concepts for approval 2. Black-and-white page thumbnails to lock composition 3. Color proofs for feedback 4. Final polished artwork I’ll provide prompt comments at each stage so revisions stay minimal and focused.
