Project Overview: I am seeking a highly skilled illustrator and layout designer to create the artwork for a 32-page children’s book titled I Can Wait. While the specific storyline and manuscript will be shared only with the hired artist, the project demands a top-tier professional who excels at atmospheric artwork, strict character consistency, and premium print-ready design. Art Style & Quality Requirements: Aesthetic: A premium "Golden Mist" soft watercolor style. The artwork must feel organic, calming, and elegant—absolutely no overly saturated, loud, or cartoonish vector styles. Negative Space Master (Crucial): The artwork must be designed with clean, intentional negative space. The text needs room to breathe, ensuring the final layout looks like a traditional, high-end published book. Strict Character Consistency: You must be able to illustrate the exact same character across 14 different scenes, maintaining perfect consistency in proportions, facial features, and expressions from various angles. Project Scope & Technical Specifications: Dimensions: 8.5" x 8.5" square format. Volume: 32 pages total, structured as 14 full double-page spreads, plus the Front and Back Cover. Deliverables (Non-Negotiable): Fully designed interior in a print-ready PDF format (CMYK color profile, 300 DPI, with standard bleed and trim marks).
