I need a lightweight solution that lets users run keyword-based searches for online videos directly inside Google Chrome. When someone types a term, the tool should instantly pull the most relevant video results and list them in an organised, visually clean panel within the browser. Core requirements • Keyword-driven search field embedded in the Chrome UI (extension or similar approach is fine). • Reliable fetching of video results from the main public platforms, with clear titles and thumbnails at a minimum—feel free to suggest any extra metadata you can surface without slowing the experience. • Smooth, modern front-end so results appear quickly and are easy to scroll through. • Solid error handling and clear status messages if a search fails or returns no matches. • Code must be well-commented and handed over with simple build / install instructions so I can test it locally before pushing live. I’m open to whatever stack you’re most comfortable with for Chrome extensions—JavaScript, TypeScript, React, or vanilla JS are all fine—as long as it stays fast and lightweight.
