I have several Excel files that hold Customer Information that now suffer from exact duplicates, stray spaces, inconsistent date / number formats, and a mix of lowercase and uppercase text. I need them brought to a single reliable standard and then placed behind a one-click Power Query workflow so the same clean-up can be reapplied whenever new data arrives. Here is what has to happen: • Remove every exact duplicate row while preserving the first unique occurrence. • Run a full TRIM on every text field, convert names and addresses to Proper Case (first letter capitalised), and repair obvious typos where Power Query can infer the correction. • Ensure all dates are true Excel serial dates and all numeric columns are stored as numbers, not text. • Split combined name fields into First and Last where needed and, conversely, merge components such as street, city, and ZIP into a single Address field that follows a consistent format. • Deliver the finished workbook with a clearly labelled Power Query that performs the entire sequence automatically when I press Refresh, plus a brief note showing me where to paste future raw data.
