We're a B2B consulting company launching cold outreach to owner-operated service businesses. We need an experienced cold email specialist to build our sending infrastructure correctly from scratch and hand it off ready to run. This is a one-time setup project, not an ongoing management role — though it may lead to occasional retainer work if the build performs. You own the technical foundation. A separate person will run day-to-day once you've built it, so your job is to make it bulletproof and documented. Scope of work: Recommend and register sending domains (secondary/lookalike domains — not our primary domain). Set up mailboxes across those domains with proper SPF, DKIM, and DMARC authentication. Configure and run domain/mailbox warmup to sending-ready status. Set up our Instantly.ai account: sending accounts connected, rotation configured, sending limits and schedules set safely. Build the initial cold email sequence(s) in Instantly — we'll provide draft copy and offer details; you refine for deliverability and structure. Establish our list verification process (tool and workflow) so bounce rates stay safe. Deliver a short written handoff doc: what was built, daily sending limits, what the day-to-day operator should monitor, and what "healthy" looks like vs. warning signs. What we're looking for: Demonstrable cold email experience — you've personally built and warmed sending infrastructure, not just written copy or clicked around a tool. Fluency with the current Google/Microsoft bulk-sender rules and how to stay compliant. Experience with Instantly.ai specifically (or a very close equivalent you can adapt). Clear communicator who documents their work so a non-expert can run it after.
