I have attached the existing floor plan of my apartment and I want to start from scratch. The current layout wastes far too much square footage: the master bedroom enjoys an en-suite with a window while the hallway bathroom sits in the dark, and the kitchen stretches out as a long, narrow corridor. I’m open to ending up with one generous bedroom or two well-proportioned ones—whichever yields a noticeably larger, airier living area. My top priority is to increase the overall living space. Natural light is a close second, but I only need one of the bathrooms to keep a window; you’re free to decide which arrangement makes the most sense. Feel free to relocate, merge, or resize any room so long as circulation feels intuitive and storage is intelligently worked in. An open-plan kitchen-living zone, a re-centred entry, or even flipping bedroom positions are all on the table. Deliverables • At least two fully dimensioned floor-plan options (PDF + source file in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar) • Simple furniture layout in each plan to prove usability • A brief rationale for the chosen room sizes, window placements, and circulation flow Acceptance Criteria • Net usable living area grows compared with the current plan • Minimum one bathroom maintains an exterior window • Drawings are scaled, labelled, and ready for a local architect/contractor to quote from If you work in SketchUp, Revit, AutoCAD, or another mainstream tool just let me know; I’m flexible on file format as long as measurements are precise.
