I’m bringing in a specialist to harden our Microsoft 365 environment so we can meet Cyber Essentials requirements and give the team a trouble-free, secure workspace. Here is what I need put in place: • Email protection – configure anti-phishing rules, advanced spam filtering and message encryption policies across all user mailboxes. • Laptop hardening – roll out centrally-managed antivirus, tighten Windows firewalls and enable full-disk data encryption on every device. • SharePoint security – build out a clean folder structure, apply role-based permissions and add DLP / retention policies so company files stay private yet accessible to the right people. When the work is done I’d like brief hand-over notes and, if possible, a quick walkthrough call so I can support users internally. Everything should sit neatly inside our existing Microsoft 365 subscription with no third-party tools unless they’re absolutely necessary.
