Project Description I have a custom-built Node.js news website (not WordPress) with over 3,500 published articles. I am looking for an experienced Node.js developer with strong Technical SEO knowledge to audit my website and implement a complete SEO solution. The goal is to improve indexing, Google Search visibility, and Google News compatibility while following Google's latest SEO guidelines. Scope of Work Technical SEO Audit Perform a complete technical SEO audit. Identify and fix indexing issues. Optimize crawlability. Fix duplicate content issues. Review robots.txt. Review canonical URLs. Improve internal linking. Optimize metadata (title, meta description). Implement or improve Schema.org structured data. Optimize for Google News. Ensure the website follows Google's SEO best practices. Dynamic XML Sitemap Implementation Implement a production-ready sitemap system for a custom Node.js application. Required sitemaps: sitemap.xml (Sitemap Index) sitemap-pages.xml sitemap-posts.xml sitemap-news.xml sitemap-images.xml Requirements: Automatically update when articles are published or updated. No duplicate URLs. Dynamic lastmod values. Google Search Console compatible. Google News compatible. XML validation. Automatically split sitemaps if Google limits are exceeded. Performance Improve Core Web Vitals where applicable. Optimize crawl efficiency. Recommend performance improvements related to SEO. Deliverables Complete technical SEO audit report.
