I need a detail-oriented accountant who can take full charge of day-to-day accounting entries, perform periodic reconciliations, and prepare everything required for an internal audit review. All data is currently maintained in Tally, so solid experience with that platform is essential; if you are also comfortable migrating reports or comparative schedules into QuickBooks, Xero, or FreshBooks, that flexibility will be a plus. Here is what I expect from you: • Record and post every outstanding journal entry with correct classifications. • Reconcile bank, cash, supplier, and customer ledgers, flagging and resolving discrepancies. • Compile audit-ready schedules, supporting documents, and variance explanations. • Handle any other related accounting jobs that surface as we close the books. Acceptance criteria: every ledger must reconcile to the last paisa, supporting documents must tie back to Tally, and the audit file should be ready for handover without further clean-up.
