I’m looking for someone who can step in as the day-to-day driver of several concurrent construction projects. You’ll be my single point of accountability for everything that happens on site, making sure each job moves from kickoff to hand-over without surprises. Your core focus areas will be: • Planning and scheduling – build detailed Gantt charts, maintain two-week look-ahead schedules, track critical path activities, and keep stakeholders updated with clear progress snapshots. • Team coordination – lead a 6-10 person field and subcontractor team, run daily stand-ups, resolve clashes early, and keep communication flowing between crew, suppliers, architects, and myself. No formal budget control is required right now, but you’ll flag cost impacts early and help me shape future estimates. Because we operate on tight timelines, experience with tools such as MS Project (or Primavera), Slack/Teams, and cloud-based document control (Procore, Dropbox, or similar) will make your life—and mine—easier. Success looks like this: every task on your schedule is either on time or has a clearly documented recovery plan; the site team always knows the next three priorities; and I can open your weekly report and see accurate %-complete, risk notes, and upcoming material needs at a glance.
