I’m commissioning a set of five slow-paced, 10-minute cartoon shorts meant purely for entertainment. Each piece should draw on the gentle wonder of Studio Ghibli—lush painterly backgrounds, soft color palettes, and subtle, lyrical motion—while featuring completely original characters and storylines. Think quiet lakes at dusk, drifting clouds, small moments of discovery and friendship; nothing frantic or slapstick, always calm and soothing. Scope of work • Pre-production: brief story outline and mood board for each episode, followed by an approved storyboard/animatic. • Production: full 2D animation (hand-drawn or Toon Boom/TVPaint equivalents are welcome) at 24 fps, 1920 × 1080. Naturalistic ambient sound design and gentle music beds should accompany the visuals; royalty-free or fully licensed assets only. • Post: final colour grade, soft-subbed English dialogue or on-screen text where needed, then export to H.264 MP4 and ProRes HQ. Acceptance criteria • Exactly five videos, each 10:00 ± 15 sec. • Distinct yet cohesive visual style across all episodes. • Narratives remain tranquil—no sudden loud effects or rapid scene changes. • All artwork, audio, and project files delivered upon completion. If you have a reel that shows painterly backgrounds, fluid low-tempo animation, or prior “Ghibli-inspired” pieces, please include it.
