I need to wire my CRM’s user login directly into my custom-built HTML/CSS website and feed full activity tracking back to the CRM. Visitors who sign in (or are already recognised through the CRM’s cookies/token) should be able to move seamlessly across the site without a second authentication step, while every meaningful event—page views, button clicks, file downloads—flows into the contact’s activity timeline in the CRM. Key points for the build • Secure single sign-on between the site and the CRM (OAuth 2.0 or the platform’s native SSO endpoint). • Front-end written in plain HTML, CSS and vanilla JS, so any scripts must slot in cleanly without breaking existing code. • Real-time activity tracking pushed via the CRM’s REST API; batching is fine as long as data lands within a few minutes. • Clear, well-commented code and a short setup guide so I can redeploy on staging/production myself. Acceptance criteria 1. A new or returning user can log in from the website and is authenticated inside the CRM with no extra steps. 2. At least three tracked events (page view, link click, file download) appear against the contact record inside the CRM within 3 minutes. 3. No console errors or layout shifts on any current page. I haven’t locked into a specific CRM yet, so the solution should work with one of the big three—Salesforce, HubSpot, or Zoho—and be adaptable if I choose another standards-based platform later.
